Pegakote® can be applied directly on most mineral substrates (f.i. old concrete, tiles, glassetc.). Curing compounds in case of poly-concrete have to be removed by means of sand orgrit blasting. On new concrete or non-porous concrete, remove cement grout by sand or gritblasting, treatment with diluted hydrochloric acid or with Surfa-Etch 108. Porous substrates shall be impregnated with Pegakote® diluted with 10 to 20% water. Pegakote® may not be applied on an elastic paint coat or a moving substrate.
